I use Myofascial Release Techniques to help achieve better hydration and mobility. This approach gets to the actual source of the discomfort and treating that dysfunction, rather than chasing symptoms around the body and never getting results. Clients often feel immediate relief that lasts longer than the quick endorphin release achieved in spa settings. This work is very powerful and effective, as it structurally realigns the body, correcting poor alignment , and allowing the patient to be free of the pain that restricted tissue and joints bring.
Restore Natural Movement
Once natural movement is restored, the focus moves to strengthening the unconditioned neural pathways by instilling awareness of the natural movement patterns as well as strengthening of the muscles to regain full function. I encourage clients to work on this themselves so that they can reinforce their newfound awareness. This speaks to the intelligence of tissue and it’s ability to adapt and grow whilst being put through various activities.
